Your boss asks if the whole report can be done by end of day, plus the changes from the other three people who haven't replied yet. You smile and say you'll see what you can do. Nothing about this is possible.

Why it caught on: the picture shows a young man in a TV studio with his face screwed up in a grimace of disbelief, and the word "impossibru" is a deliberately mangled "impossible", in the same family as "ermagerd" and "hilarious" typed as "hiarious". People first put it on tasks that seemed too hard, then on anything absurd. It spread because the face fits every moment of mild despair.
