It does exactly what the last one did, only with a new logo. Your mate announces he has "basically finished" a screenplay, a half-marathon and a sourdough starter. You nod along. The sourdough is called Kevin and he's already dead. Someone at work unveils the "bold new direction" for the quarter: the old direction, a different font, and a launch party with warm prosecco. You clap at the right moment. That's all it takes. Your team's star player gets a trophy, a handshake and a bouquet, and is asked to smile for the photo. You stand there holding the flowers, thinking about the one thing that went wrong and nothing else. **Why it caught on:** the picture shows American gymnast McKayla Maroney on the podium at the 2012 London Olympics, wearing her silver medal for the vault and holding flowers, with her lips pushed to one side in a flat, unimpressed look. After the photo went round in August 2012, people pasted her into pictures of famous achievements and wonders, from rockets to pyramids, and captioned them "not impressed". It spread because the face fits any moment where something is meant to be amazing and clearly isn't.
