Good / Luck
A liam neeson taken post.
The call comes at 2pm, from a number you don't know, and it's the third one this week about the accident you haven't had. You say "I will find you" very quietly, mostly to the dishwasher. Someone has eaten the yoghurt with your name on it, in your handwriting, on the lid. Nobody in the office knows anything. You open the fridge, look at each colleague in turn, and think about a very particular set of skills. Your friend does the "arrow to the knee" line again. It was funny in 2011. You now do the maths on how long it has been, and it is not a short time. Someone in the gents has missed the urinal entirely, and the cleaner has left a sign. You stand there with your hands under the dryer, composing a short speech with no mercy in it. **Why it caught on:** the picture is a still of Liam Neeson on the phone, in a dim room, from the 2008 thriller *Taken*, where his character warns a kidnapper that he will find him and kill him. The calm, gravelly phone speech was lifted out of the film and attached to every small irritation, from spam calls to stolen vegetables. It spread because the threat is enormous and the offence is tiny, and everyone has a grievance that deserves the voice.
