Why it caught on: the picture is Jules Winnfield, the hitman in a dark suit pointing a gun across a flat in Quentin Tarantino's *Pulp Fiction* (1994), mid-interrogation of a man who keeps giving the wrong answer. People captioned it with a warning not to do some small irritating thing one more time, and it spread because everyone has a pet hate they'd like to deliver in that tone, and the threat is always out of all proportion to the offence.
