Why it caught on: a crude black-and-white rage comic stick figure, drawn in the style of the early 2010s webcomic scene, shown mid-sentence with a scowl and a bowl of cereal in front of him. People pasted it under any prediction or half-baked insult, usually a confident "he will never have a girlfriend" aimed at someone else. It spread because the drawing is simple enough to be recycled endlessly, and because everyone has been both the person making the smug prediction and the one it was made about.
