what if I told you / Dogs are just humans in dog suits
A What If I Told You meme.
What If I Told You uses Laurence Fishburne as Morpheus in The Matrix (1999), wearing his mirrored sunglasses as he offers Neo a hard truth. The caption starts with "What if I told you" and ends with a reveal that should be obvious but somehow isn't - that you can be happy without being on social media, or that the cake was the lie. It's the meme for mind-blowing statements, sincere or sarcastic.
