Sit on your lap? / I'd rather stick pins in my eyes
A Grumpy Cat meme.
Grumpy Cat was Tardar Sauce, a real cat from Arizona whose feline dwarfism gave her a permanently grumpy face. Her photos hit Reddit in 2012 and she became one of the most famous animals on the internet, with books, merchandise and even a film. Captions are flat refusals and joyless replies - "I had fun once. It was awful." It's the meme for pessimism, sarcasm and saying no to everything.
