A Disaster Girl meme.
Disaster Girl is a photo of a young girl smiling knowingly at the camera while a house burns behind her. It was taken in 2004 in North Carolina - the fire was a controlled training exercise - and the girl, Zoë Roth, later sold the original as an NFT. Captions cast her as the mischievous mastermind behind every catastrophe, from burnt toast to company-wide email chains.
