You've decided you're going to become a morning person, starting tomorrow, with a 5am run. You've bought the trainers online. They arrive on Thursday. The group chat agrees to queue overnight for concert tickets "for the experience". By 2am the experience is a camping chair with one broken leg, a lukewarm pasty and Dave asleep on a recycling bin. **Why it caught on:** a still of Big Bird driving a horse and trap, whip in hand, as if leading a cavalry charge, got the old battle cry "we ride at dawn" and became the rallying call for every gloriously bad plan.
