The doctor and the nurse are whispering. One of them glances at you. You smile, like a man whose results are fine. "Any allergies?" They ask you this four times, at four desks, and write it down nowhere. The check-up was "routine". Now they want a second opinion. Of what, they won't say. You were called in after an hour, sat on paper, and seen for three minutes. "Come back if it gets worse." **Why it caught on:** the stock photos of András Arató, a retired Hungarian electrical engineer, reached forums in 2011, where people named him Harold for the pain behind the smile. The clinic shot, with the doctors talking behind his back, is the fear of every patient trying to read a nurse's face.
