That photo of you at seven, no front teeth, cardigan buttoned wrong, has been on your nan's mantelpiece for 26 years. Your graduation photo is in a drawer. She says the old one suits the frame. The passport photo booth at the post office. No smiling allowed. You come out looking like someone arrested for something they definitely did. It's valid for ten years. **Why it caught on:** it's a real little girl with Down syndrome smiling in a family photo, and the page under it, named with a slur, mostly mocked her disability. Nothing about her is the joke; if anything, she had a far better photo day than the rest of us.
