Nedry is the man who switched off the park's security to steal dinosaur embryos. So he is, technically, the reason everyone got eaten. His advice on what doesn't matter should be taken accordingly. The top line names something someone thinks is important, the bottom line is the shrug. "Just posted my opinion on the new season" / "see? nobody cares." "Started a new diet" / "nobody cares." "Long rant about the weather" / "nobody cares." It's the meme for indifference, delivered by the one character whose indifference had the worst consequences in cinema history. Nobody cared about the fences either. **Why it caught on:** it's a polite, film-quote way of saying "and?" to someone who expected applause.
