The template keeps his structure and swaps the details. The top line lists something awful that everyone has quietly accepted. The bottom line names the trivial thing that sends everyone into a frenzy. "Prices go up every month and nobody panics" / "But change the app icon and everyone loses their minds." "Twelve meetings this week, fine" / "One email without a greeting, outrage." "Nobody minds when the dog eats the couch" / "I eat one of his biscuits and suddenly I need help." It's a meme about double standards, delivered by a man in smeared makeup lecturing a hospital patient. Somehow he's the most reasonable voice in the room. **Why it caught on:** pointing out hypocrisy is more fun when a movie villain does the talking.
