Okay Guy is a rage comic face: a simple drawn man looking down with a sad, resigned expression, quietly accepting whatever just happened. He doesn't argue, protest or flip a desk. He just says "okay..." and lets the world roll over him. The top line describes the small disappointment, the bottom line is always some form of "okay". "Ask if I can come along" / "they say no... okay." "Send a joke in the group chat" / "nobody replies... okay." "Your car is on fire" / "okay." The comedy is in the gap between how bad the news is and how calm he stays. He's the patron saint of people who were told the shop closed one minute ago. Or that their order was cancelled. Or that the meeting could have been an email, and is now two meetings. **Why it caught on:** most of life's letdowns are too small to fight, and "okay..." is how everyone actually reacts.
