Jonnen Neuvo meme: käy duunis, maksa veros, / ett saadaan souma lilli hynää 1600€/kk

A Jonnen Neuvo post.

A Finnish teenage boy in a backwards LA cap, on a blue background. It's part of the Finnish "jonne" humour, where the name Jonne stands for a stereotypical childish teenage boy. The title is a pun: "neuvo" means advice, so it reads as "Jonne's advice". The posts are almost all in Finnish. Many are deadpan anti-jokes in the style of the old Finnish one-liners: "A legless man chased me." "A handless man strangled me." "I fell on a wooden stone floor." The absurdity is the point. Others play on the surname. Yrjö Neuvo was Nokia's well-known head of technology, so the boy boasts "Dr. Yrjö Neuvo is my dad" - the kind of claim every schoolyard has heard. Bragging about an older brother who will beat you up is a classic too. If you don't read Finnish, it's mostly a mystery. If you do, it's a whole school corridor in one picture. **Why it caught on:** Finnish kids had their own advice animal, full of their own in-jokes.
