WHy Does She call for Dinner / When it's Not on the Table?!
A Angry School Boy post.
A boy with shaggy hair glaring and baring his teeth, on a multicoloured background. The image is a still from the 2005 film The Chumscrubber. The meme series started in August 2011 on Quickmeme and Reddit. He's every kid throwing a tantrum over something tiny. The top line is often "You don't understand, Mom" or a similar outburst. The bottom line is the very small hill he has chosen to die on. "You don't understand, Mom" / "I need light-up shoes to run faster." "It's not spaghetti, Mom" / "It's noodles." "How many times do I have to tell you" / "No crusts." Video games feature heavily, mostly losing at them and blaming everyone else. The expression is pure fury with no power behind it. He cannot drive, does not have money and has to go to bed at nine. All he has is volume. Every parent has met him, and most of us were him once. **Why it caught on:** everyone remembers being that furious about something that small.
