It's the advice character for the student whose college experience is mostly the party part. He's not a bad guy. He's just very excited about things that don't need that much excitement, and slightly wrong about most of them. The top line is his big idea, the bottom line how it goes. "Let's drink tonight!" / "Who's got money?" "Gets wasted at party" / "party had non-alcoholic keg." "Has expensive headphones" / "listens to 128 kbps YouTube rips." Also: "Deadmau5?" / "Dude, it's dead-mau-five!" Russian-speaking students adopted him too, so plenty of posts are about skipping lectures and sleeping through exams in Cyrillic. Turns out "missed the first class, so skipped the whole week" translates perfectly. **Why it caught on:** everyone knew this guy at university - or was this guy for at least one term.
