Life means so much to me that I will not accept a life that is objectively empty and meaningless. A life without hope, without purpose, without a future, and devoid of happiness is futile. Despite popular belief this is neither selfish nor thoughtless. Quite the contrary. It is the ultimate declaration of personal meaning and ownership. The result of deep thought, contemplation, honesty, and self-awareness. One must make this determination alone. No other has the right nor the power to determine the path or future of others. It is no others responsibility to provide hope, purpose, a future, nor happiness. Only one’s self can provide those things or recognize the lack of. There is nothing in the world to which every person has a more unassailable title than to their own life and person. Therefore, it is the sole and divine responsibility of the condemned to empty the world of useless and pointless clutter.
